To mark YTD’s 20th anniversary and PEFC UK’s 25th anniversary, members of the YTD team joined PEFC UK for a tree planting event on 10th of March at Chitterman Wood in Ulverscroft, Leicestershire.
The event brought together colleagues for a day outdoors supporting woodland regeneration and recognising two important milestones. Taking part in the planting of young trees provided a practical and meaningful way to celebrate the shared commitment of YTD and PEFC to responsible forestry and long-term environmental stewardship.
During the activity, YTD planted trees on behalf of our clients, acknowledging the vital role they play in supporting responsible forestry. Each tree planted symbolises a shared commitment to sustainable forest management and to safeguarding forests and natural resources for future generations.
For YTD, the occasion offered an opportunity to reflect on our twenty-year journey and the values that continue to guide our work. Supporting initiatives that contribute to sustainable forest management remains an important part of our broader commitment to the forestry sector.
We would like to thank PEFC UK for organising the event and for bringing participants together to mark these anniversaries in a way that reflects the importance of forests and sustainable forestry practices.
